HVAC designer
This position is for an individual with experience in design and engineering of HVAC systems for commercial and institutional facilities.

Individual shall have the following background in engineering:
- Ability to perform and interpret load calculations using Trane Trace or Carrier HAP load programs, as well as hand calculations for small projects
- Experience with ductwork and piping system layout, hydronic and refrigerant system pipe sizing and routing, and low and medium pressure duct sizing using hand or computer methods
- Making selections of HVAC equipment including air handlers, chillers, condensing units, boilers, furnaces and pumps. Select and position grilles, registers and diffusers
Individual shall possess the following skills:
- AUTOCAD 2004 or higher
- Microsoft Excel
- Type at least 30 WPM using Microsoft Word
- Full command of English language both written and spoken
Educational Experience: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years.
Other Considerations: PE or EIT License desirable.
Compensation: $40,000 to $75,000 depending upon work experience. Full health care benefits plus retirement package.
